isabel marant makes me hot for fall

I know its still Summer but truth be told I’m a huge fan of Fall/Winter fashion. I love layers and jackets, sweaters and boots so I’m absolutely ready for the change of season. I also live in LA and for me Fall/Winter does not equal snow/cold. Instead it just means grab a jacket for when the sun goes down.

Isabel Marant’s Fall/Winter 2010/11 line makes me all warm and tingly inside. She has flawlessly combined all my favorites (how did she know?!): chunky knits, fierce jackets, skinny pants, boy meets girl looks with touches of sequin…yay! Check out photos from her show and the sick campaign shot featuring Kate Moss.  Would you rock these looks? Leave a comment and share.

black, white & gold

Shot today with the uber talented photographer BRADLEY MEINZ. We’re going to try to shoot as often as possible and I’m very excited about that! Here I am in a gifted Jungle Gurl COVER black romper, vintage shades, Jessica Simpson ring (yeah, I know!), Urban Outfitters belt, Monet earrings, American Apparel lace tube bra & gifted Wild Rose shoes.

Behind the scenes secret: I stretched out the shades with my large head and they kept slipping off! Hence the crazy angry face in the 3rd photo.

i want to raid her closet!

This is not the first, nor will it be the last time I feature Miss Alexa Chung for her chic, cool, fabulous style. I have yet to see her get it wrong. On the contrary she always gets it just right while making it look so easy.

do something awards: highlights

Last night Damien and I had the pleasure of attending the Do Something Awards here in Hollywood. They honor the best young world-changers, 25 and under, that are making the world a better place. In addition, they honor a select group of celebs who are also making a difference. It was a fun-filled night of entertainment and heart-felt emotion. It aired on VH1 and in true MTV (Networks) fashion, I’m sure it will air about 300 more times this week so check it out! Here are some red carpet pics and show highlight photos. To learn more or to donate visit http://www.dosomething.org/ Click pics for larger view.

In these photos: Jane Lynch, Demi Lovato, Joe Jonas, Alyssa Milano, Kathy Griffith, Kara DioGuardi, Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul, Natasha Bedingfield, Leven Rambin, Cast of MTVs “The Buried Life”, Do Something finalists, Christina Applegate, Snoop Dogg, Deion Sanders & Kellan Lutz.

more, please

My August issue of W Magazine came in the mail today, which was pretty perfect since I’m currently on a plane to NY and was able to read through it during take-off. Hottie Jon Hamm graces the cover with British starlet Rebecca Hall. The photos are hot and its great to see a rougher, scruffier Don Draper. Either way more please.

headbands all around

I’ve always been a BIG fan of headbands, especially worn across my forehead. Sometimes I would get made fun of because I would literally rock one everyday. They were and are an easy fix for keeping my front hair out of my face. I HATE hair in my face! Plus I think they just look adorable…on everyone.

So headbands all around!

All headbands from Urban Outfitters and American Apparel.
